Objectives

After working on this module, you will be able to:

Make a comparative study of the store where you are working and that of its competitior for identify security hazard and risks currently existing in both the stores;

Identify all security points in terms of lighting/ visibility in store, cashiering process, EAS system and worng placement of fixtures; and

Report the finding with suggestions for improvement.

Assignment 1

Carefully study the retail store, and that of the competitor ( or any other large store of an organized retailer), and identify all the security hazard and risks currently present in both the stores. This may include hte arrangements for security guards, EAS system, bad lighting/ visibility in the store, risky cashiering Processes, worng placement of fixtures etc. Finally record these findings with suggestions for improvement.

1) Observations on security hazard of the store with which you ar working:

a) Observations:
Security items is very necessary and important for the store. If we don't have security items in the own store so we have to face lots of the difficulities. We have the EAS magment system also in our store. If someone used to take items outside the door through EAS system it's automatically going to make sounds. We have the lighting security means to use lights to show the products in store. As companing to another stores I don't know what's technology in the marke we use these technologis, that's helps us to show the items we have another method of e-biling, if cusotmer wants to purchase some products and they have no cash and they want to give money though e- wallet then we have such facilites also our devices scan such products itself and show the total bill of the products on the monitor of computer. This helps to reduce work load in the store as well.

b) Findings:
We finds that there are lots of technology that helps to mantain the work through EAS management system they check outside persons onhouse securities through lighting they attracts the cusotmers towards the product and the scanning online money transfering through items that there is speaker who tells everything about clothes and there discount. All types of cusotmers are come in the store we don't know what intentions they have so we should focused on our securities.

2) Observations on security hazard of the competitior's store:

a) Observations:
We have lots of the competitions in the market. In market lots of the retailers follow the big brands technic they also enhance there security for established more and more technology based items. And our competitiors are always competitior as like reliance trends they also a big brand that sales the clothes and other items. Reliance Trends security is really very good they have security gards in outside of the store. Have CCTV camera's in every corner and every main area. And there technology based items is very good. They also have EAS management system. And we know that what is the work of EAS management system. And online biling process also enhance the securities we have total bill on the monitor and we easily show any data it any customer is confused about the amount of hte store. Reliance Trends is a big competitior but there are lots of small retaiters some retailers enchance their security by appling CCTV cameras in inside and outside of hte store on that time CCTV cameras must needed. And samll retailers process online transcation attracts the retailer and it enchance their security too.

b) Findings:
Here, we finds lots of the retailers and lots of competitors have high repatation in the market. They all follow rules and regulations and take all the steps which are neededd for growth of the business in the level of securities all the competitiors are very good they focused on their stores securities too. But there are some shops who have no any security they lock their store but they have no any CCTV cameras gaurds either. But if i see large store's they focused on their companies securities

3) Conclusions with findinfs & suggestion: Max Fashion

a) The retail store where you are working:
How we can say that our company have very big repulation on the market? so its is compulsory to spand our money on security work. And to follow all the steps of security levels. We have lots of security level things to our store like EAS magnet system than makes our store like securities from ourside of the store
→ We should focus on CCTV cameras because they capture everything happenes in hte store. And we should focus on outside securities.

b) competitor's retail store with store you are working:
The competitors who have high budget and high capital they have almost some level of the security and good level of security. Because now days securities in very important. And each and every company is focused on there securities our competitior is also focused on the Security and in technology in very focused on their security. They have outside security gaurds. We should maintain on our outside securities and we should learn many things from our competitiors.
